No opponent in sight, but Nuytinck and co just step onto the field

Udinese just stepped onto the field on Tuesday. Bram Nuytinck’s club wanted to comply with the regulations to escape punishment itself.

Salernitana did not consider himself capable of taking action against Udinese because of the travel restrictions imposed. The positive cases forced the club into self-isolation.

The Italian federation did not officially put an end to the meeting. Udinese also just brought out the starting eleven through the various channels. The players also entered the field, even though there was no opponent in sight. “We are obliged to come on the field in accordance with the rules,” said trainer Pierpaolo Marino.

Udinese is likely to be awarded a regular 3-0 win. The points may eventually have to be surrendered. Salernitana may disappear from the Serie A field. The club must officially have a new owner before January 1 to comply with the regulations. The first half of the season was given a dispensation.
