Madrid’s Eye’s are on Fekir

 Real Madrid

Kings of the La Liga Real Madrid is on the hunt for the perfect candidate to replace Gareth Bale before his departure at the end of the season.
Liverpool’s shining star Mohammed Salah is on the cards to be transferred to Real Madrid but Anfield bosses are allegedly asking for £176m. It is said that Madrid are willing to pay him a salary of £8.8million a year. Unfortunately for them, Salah allegedly wants £13.25m to turn his back on Liverpool. Real is supposedly already now searching for a cheaper alternative.

Lyon forward Nabil Fekir has now emerged as a potential candidate as he fit’s the Madrid’s profile. Reports in France reveal that Liverpool has agreed on the price of £62m to sign Fekir. However, if this is the case Madrid’s transfer fixer  Florentino Perez will have to get a move on to secure his signature. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp denied claims of such discussions in the wake of his team’s 1-0 defeat at Chelsea. “During the game we agreed a deal? I would be surprised about that

“He’s been there less than a year if he scores no goals next season and doesn’t do anything he isn’t going to rank anywhere. In terms of the start he’s actually had, it’s the best start probably of any Liverpool player.” Barnes told Starsport exclusively.

Jean-Michel, the owner of Lyon Aulas has denied intentions of Fekir moving to Anfield. “We have had no contact with Liverpool today, Nabil Fekir is here. We hope to keep him and have him playing the Champions League with us next year.”

Lyon

At the age of just 14 years old, Fekir was released by Lyon to then be re-signed four years after. The France international with 10 caps to his name has 150 appearances in the Ligue 1 club. In which he has scored 56 goals and provided 36 assists. This season alone he has netted 22 times already across the 37 games played by Lyon. He is under contract until the summer of 2022 and is set to be rewarded with a double-your-money deal to fend off interest. His current contract runs until summer 2022 and he is to expect a big deal to fend off the interests of other clubs.

Sadio Mane
It is in Sadio Manes beliefs that if Nabil Fekir was to be signed for Liverpool, it would do the team well for the summer. However, both Liverpool and Lyon have not been exposing whether there is a negotiation for the France international. “He is a top player, we would be happy seeing him with us. If he comes he’ll do great things with us. Yes, it will be like fire if he comes.” Mane told SFR Sport. Scoring 22 goals this season the attacking midfielder had an offer for £62m claimed by French reports.
However, Liverpool has denied the case with Lyon president also stating there has been no approach towards a deal for Fekir. “No. If we had negotiated and signed (a deal), I would be the first to know. There hasn’t been contact with Liverpool. I am a bit surprised by this story. I also want to say there was no agreement in Nabil’s contract allowing him to leave.”Fekir shared that he was aware reports linking him with a big deal possibly a move to Anfield. “I heard these rumours, for now, I am in Lyon. There are still two games left and we are preparing for them in the best way possible. At the end of the season, we will see. The Champions League with Lyon? Of course I want that. It’s the club of my heart, as you know.”
