Former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua is returning to the boxing ring. The 36-year-old will face YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul on Saturday morning at around 5:00 a.m.
The fight will take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami and is scheduled for eight rounds of three minutes each.
The fight is already attracting attention in the run-up to the event, as it brings together two very different careers and backgrounds in professional boxing.
Joshua vs. Paul: an uneven match?
Joshua was world heavyweight champion several times between 2016 and 2021 and became internationally known for his victory over Wladimir Klitschko in 2017, among other things. Jake Paul, on the other hand, comes from the world of social media and has been trying to establish himself in professional boxing for several years. The 28-year-old caused a stir in November last year with his victory over boxing icon Mike Tyson.
