Hoffenheim’s Kaderabek is out for the time being

Pavel Kaderabek had to leave the pitch early with an injury during TSG Hoffenheim’s 5-0 win over 1. FC Köln. The Kraichgau side announced the details on Twitter.

In Friday night’s match between Hoffenheim and the visitors from the Rhine, the 34th minute was running when Cologne’s Kingsley Ehizibue fell awkwardly on the Czech’s right ankle during a duel with Kaderabek.

The 29-year-old immediately doubled over in pain and it quickly became clear that he would not be able to continue – coach Sebastian Hoeneß substituted Chris Richards for the right defensive winger in the 36th minute.

On Tuesday, 1899 tweeted that Kaderabek would not be available for the time being due to an ankle injury. TSG did not provide any information on the duration of his absence.
