German trio misses main draw at French Open

Paris – On the last day of qualifying, no further German tennis professionals were able to qualify for the main draw of the French Open.

Nastasja Schunk in the women’s singles and Daniel Masur and Cedrik-Marcel Stebe in the men’s singles both lost in the last round of qualifying. Thus, only Jule Niemeier made it to the main draw at the second Grand Slam tournament of the season via the qualification.

A total of four men and four women from Germany are now in Paris. The French Open begins on Sunday.
