Fury sets condition for return

Tyson Fury is said to be on the verge of a return to the boxing ring. Now the heavyweight has laid down a condition for him to come back from retirement

For weeks, a possible return of Tyson Fury has dominated the headlines.

Now there is a new chapter in the eternal question of whether he will step back into the boxing ring. This is how the Englishman has caused new speculation at an event.

He would love to box Anthony Joshua if he wins against Oleksandr Usyk in August. “I really hope he wins the fight against Usyk, then I can come out of retirement and fight him for free,” Fury explained.

But the “Gypsy King” has one condition for that, which is somewhat surprising. “I want it at Wembley Stadium, I want it to be free entry and I want it to be on TV for free. Here in this country. I’ll fight him for free here, not abroad for more money. Here for free, for the people,” he roared. For this idea, he was cheered frenetically by the fans present.

Whether it can be implemented is questionable. After all, the 33-year-old last demanded $500 million for his return. Such a sum will be difficult to refinance without income from pay-TV and ticketing.
