Formula 1 Las Vegas: A lap in 360-degree video

A 360-degree video provides a first taste of the layout of the Las Vegas street circuit where Formula One will race a Grand Prix from 2023

In 2023, Formula 1 will return to the gambler’s paradise of Las Vegas for a night race on a 6.12-kilometre street circuit on the Saturday after Thanksgiving (25 November)

A 360-degree video now provides a first glimpse of the Las Vegas Grand Prix track layout. A night-time drive in a car takes you along some of the roads that will also be used by the Formula 1 drivers in November 2023.

This includes the almost two-kilometre-long straight on the Las Vegas Strip, which passes some of the most famous hotels in the gambler’s paradise.

In other places, the course can only be described at the moment, as it is not completely on public roads, but parts still have to be built for the Formula 1 race.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix will be the third USA race on the Formula One calendar, following the US Grand Prix held at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin since 2012 and the Miami Grand Prix scheduled for the first time in 2022.

Formula 1 had already raced in Las Vegas in 1981 and 1982; at that time on a temporary circuit in the car park of the “Caesars Palace” hotel.
