Ferrari will be going yellower than usual at the Italian Grand Prix at Monza: to mark the track’s 100th anniversary, the F1-75’s red design has been revamped
Ferrari will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Monza this weekend with a special revised livery for its Formula One car, adding the original yellow colour to the F1-75’s design
Ferrari had hinted on social media earlier this week that the car would be more yellow for this year’s Italian Grand Prix – posting a picture of drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in yellow team gear.
The new livery was then unveiled on Wednesday. It complements the existing design with a yellow engine cover and yellow end plates for the rear wing. The rear wing itself also features the brand name in bright yellow.
The halo has also been redesigned and is now black and yellow, while the race suits and helmets for the race weekend have also been trimmed to the colour. Yellow has always been considered Ferrari’s “second colour”, though of course the Italian marque is best known for its iconic red.

In a statement Ferrari said, “Since the Scuderia’s beginnings in 1929 and later when the company was founded 75 years ago, Enzo Ferrari chose the colour yellow, which along with blue is one of the colours of the coat of arms of Modena, for the company’s crest, the prancing horse.”
“It’s a very special look to celebrate a very special occasion, the 100th anniversary of the Monza circuit.” The changes will only be made for this weekend’s race. For Leclerc and Sainz, it’s all about Ferrari’s first home win in three years.
