Fix: Stefan Bradl to replace Marc Marquez at the MotoGP race in Argentina!

Honda nominates Stefan Bradl as replacement for Marc Marquez: The rider from Zahlingen travels to the MotoGP race in Termas de Rio Hondo with good memories

Stefan Bradl will take over the factory Honda from Marc Marquez at the Argentine Grand Prix in Termas de Rio Hondo. Honda confirmed this on Wednesday before the race. The Japanese manufacturer had already announced on Tuesday that Marquez would have to withdraw from the Grand Prix in Argentina.

Bradl is thus facing his first race appearance in the current MotoGP season. The Zahlinger is familiar with the 2022 version of the Honda RC213V.

“The most important thing is to wish Marc all the best now. Hopefully he will be fit again quickly,” Bradl sends get-well wishes in the direction of Marquez. “Until he is fit again, I will do my best for Honda and the Repsol team and replace him. “

“I have already done some testing this year and I am familiar with the new Honda RC213V. Of course it’s different when you do a MotoGP weekend. But I have good memories of Argentina,” Bradl comments.

“I finished fifth here in 2014 and came seventh in my last race in the 2016 season,” Bradl recalls of his MotoGP successes at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit.

“We will discuss with the team to define the plan for the weekend. I have no doubt that it will be a stressful weekend,” said Bradl ahead of his first Grand Prix in the 2022 MotoGP season.
