140 years it took, now the first main fight between two female boxers will take place at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York: World champion Katie Taylor (Ireland) and Amanda Serrano (Puerto Rico) will make history with their fight on Sunday night.
At stake is Taylor’s WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO version of the lightweight title.
“There’s something really big taking place. No matter how the fight turns out, it will be historic,” said former world champion and current DAZN expert Regina Halmich.
