The countdown is on: EA SPORTS FC 26 will be launched worldwide in just under a week and a half. If you can’t wait to dive into the new soccer simulation, there are several options available. The web and companion apps – the classic shortcut for FUT players – are usually even faster than Early Access (September 19).
According to EA SPORTS, the web app will be available on September 17 this year, with the companion app following a day later on September 18. So it’s the perfect time for all FUT fans to dive into team management before the official release of the Ultimate Edition. EA Play subscribers can also test it out for ten hours in advance, as usual.
Team management and SBCs before everyone else
With the web app (browser) and the companion app (smartphone), you can access everything except the actual gameplay. This means you can set up your first Ultimate Team, complete Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), and grab your first packs as soon as possible. The transfer market is also available, so you can earn a few coins in advance. Once the console version is unlocked, you’ll be prepared and already have a coin cushion.
Last year, the web app was also released a week before the official release – EA SPORTS is continuing this tradition this year. On September 26, everyone will have full access.
Returning user bonuses – back again
Players returning from FUT 25 to FUT 26 can look forward to returning user bonuses. These were also available last year. In addition, EA SPORTS is giving out bonuses if you were one of the “founders” of the FC series, i.e., if you purchased FC 24. If you also have EA Play, you’ll get even more. Rules you need to follow
In previous years, the use of the web and companion apps was subject to certain conditions. The developer has not explicitly stated that these will apply again for FC 26, but the following restrictions may apply this time as well:
You must have created a FUT club in EA SPORTS FC 25 and registered on your platform before August 1, 2025.
Your FUT 25 account must still exist. If you have already deleted your club, you will not have been able to access the apps in the past.
The amount of loyalty bonuses varied depending on player history, account status, and your involvement in FUT. Players who had switched platforms for the new game did not receive any bonuses.
