“Fans disregarded”: Palace fans demand Glasner’s dismissal

Despite a 1-0 win against bottom-of-the-table Wolverhampton, things are still not going well at Crystal Palace. The fans once again demanded the premature dismissal of coach Oliver Glasner.

Crystal Palace beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0, but that didn’t bring peace to the capital club. On the contrary, fans once again expressed their displeasure on Sunday, displaying a banner that read: “Opportunities missed – Board inept. Fans disrespected – Glasner finished.” (In English: “Opportunities missed – Board inept. Fans disrespected – Glasner finished.”)

There has been speculation for days about the Austrian’s premature departure. Glasner is set to leave Palace in the summer, but in light of recent events, his tenure could end prematurely. With his latest statement (“I’m just not good enough to replace the players we’ve sold”), Glasner has not only criticized the club’s owners once again, but also fueled speculation about his departure from Crystal Palace.
