Ex-boxing world champion robbed

Bad news from boxing world champion Amir Khan. The 35-year-old has been robbed.

Former world boxing champion Amir Khan says he was robbed in London on Monday under threat of gun violence. The Briton wrote this on Twitter.

The 35-year-old was walking with his wife Faryal when two men with guns drawn took his wristwatch. “The good news is we are safe,” Khan shared. London police said they had already launched a manhunt for the would-be perpetrators.

Khan is a former world light-welterweight champion of both the WBA and IBF boxing federations. He lost his last fight in February against compatriot Kell Brook after a technical knockout in the sixth round.
