The Iranian-born wrestler takes the fourth podium place for the German team
Mohsen Siyar won the fourth bronze medal for the German Wrestling Federation (DRB) at the end of the European Championships in Albania’s capital Tirana. The 30-year-old Iranian-born wrestler from ASV Schorndorf won the small final in the freestyle class up to 125 kg against Azamat Khosonov from Greece.
In the course of the previous week, Annika Wendle (53 kg), Anastasia Blayvas (55 kg) and Naemi Leistner (62 kg) had each won bronze for the German women’s team. In the men’s Greco-Roman style, on the other hand, all DRB starters had failed prematurely.
