All three DRB starters suffer early defeats
The German wrestlers had no chance at the start of the European Championships in Bucharest on Monday. The three Greco-Roman specialists Idris Ibajew (77 kg), Pascal Eisele (87 kg) and Franz Richter (130 kg) all suffered early defeats.
No tickets for the Olympic Games in Paris (July 26 to August 11) will be awarded at the European Championships. The qualifying tournaments will take place from April 5 to 7 in Baku and from May 9 to 12 in Istanbul. The only Olympic ticket for the German Wrestling Federation (DRB) to date was won by Luisa Niemesch at last year’s World Championships
