The Los Angeles Lakers can hope for a positive update before the start of the playoffs: Luka Doncic is expected to rejoin the team before the series against Houston.
The Los Angeles Lakers receive an important signal before the start of the playoff series against the Houston Rockets. According to media reports, Luka Doncic is set to rejoin the team this week after receiving treatment in Europe.
The superstar suffered a muscle injury in his thigh at the beginning of April and traveled to Madrid for special treatment. Doncic is now expected to be back in Los Angeles in time for Game 1.
Despite his return to the team, there is still no concrete forecast as to when the Slovenian will be able to play again. A comeback in the course of the series is considered possible, but is not currently scheduled.
Reaves probably out for longer
The situation is even more difficult for Austin Reaves. The guard is expected to miss most of the first round and could return at the beginning of May at the earliest.
