Can Manchester City win the Club World Cup title after the treble? Find out everything you need to know about the competition in Saudi Arabia here

The FIFA Club World Cup will take place in Saudi Arabia from December 12 to 22. Seven teams will compete in the port city of Jeddah to determine the successor to record champions Real Madrid (five titles). The royals, who secured the title in February, are not taking part – but the reigning Champions League winners Manchester City are.

All winners of the continental competitions are eligible to take part. In addition to the Sky Blues, the winners of the Copa Libertadores (South America), the CAF Champions League (Africa), the AFC Champions League (Asia), the CONCACAF Champions Cup (North and Central America) and the OFC Champions League (Oceania) will therefore also be represented. The field of participants is completed by a team from the host country
