BVB restarts ticket sales for top match on Friday

After Borussia Dortmund had to cancel all tickets for the top match against Bayern Munich, the sales phase is now to start all over again.

67,000 tickets had been sold by BVB for the match between first Bayern Munich and second. But because restrictions were to be expected due to the Corona pandemic, the Westphalians cancelled all tickets during the week.

Now that the facts have been established in the Bund-Länder round on Thursday, BVB is working flat out to start selling tickets again. This is to begin on Friday at 10 am. For the sake of fairness, the sale is exclusively aimed at season ticket holders who had activated their season ticket(s) and standing-room ticket holders who had already purchased a ticket for the match against Bayern Munich. These could purchase two tickets each.

This time, however, only a maximum of 15,000 spectators will be allowed into the stadium, in accordance with political guidelines. The ticket allocation is to include only seats and will take place in a “four-man chessboard pattern”.

Presale for Besiktas match cancelled

The advance sale for the Champions League match against Besiktas Istanbul next Tuesday has also been cancelled, and tickets will go on sale again in the online ticket shop on 4 December. Fans who had already purchased tickets will receive a refund of the purchase price within 14 days.
