Back-up Parker Jackson-Cartwright of Telekom Baskets Bonn has been voted the most valuable player of the current season in the Basketball Bundesliga.
The BBL announced this on Thursday evening. The 26-year-old American came out on top ahead of TJ Shorts II (Crailsheim) and Kamar Baldwin (Göttingen) to secure his third MVP trophy in three years.
In the two previous seasons, Jackson-Cartwright had captured the award in France’s second division and Great Britain’s elite division. Bonn is one of the surprise teams of this season.
