FC Bayern München have made public two positive Corona tests the day after their 4-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
The players affected are Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Müller. The two internationals had “tested positive for the corona virus this Saturday”, the record champions said in an official statement.
Both players are symptom-free and doing well, it continues. Kimmich and Müller are in domestic isolation.
Müller, who scored the goal to make it 4-0, and Kimmich were in coach Julian Nagelsmann’s starting line-up for Friday night’s emphatic home win over Leverkusen.
In the Champions League, FC Bayern will play at home against Czech champions Viktoria Pilsen on Tuesday evening.
